[2025-2026] THESIS GROUP PROJECT

BIT BY BIT

Brand identity

Bit by Bit  is a collective exploring the shared language of craft and code, developed with Lya Vengerik. Through week-long workshops, participants move between weaving, embroidery, knitting, and coding tools like p5.js, translating patterns across physical and digital forms. As part of the project, we designed our own scarves, extending the identity across the full spectrum of graphic design, packaging, product, web, and motion.

The visual language draws from algorithmic repetition, punch-card perforations, scanning as a bridge between analog and digital, and playful typography shaped by the collective's tone. Rooted in the historical link between the Jacquard loom and early computing, the project treats both as systems of pattern thinking built on repetition, logic, and rhythm.
