Unravel a Manifesto is a publication developed with Lya Vengerik, for a collective that sits at the intersection of weaving and coding. Rooted in the historical link between the Jacquard loom and early computing, the project frames both practices as systems of pattern thinking grounded in repetition, logic, and rhythm. The manifesto summarizes the project ethos, maintaining the ideals of: open source and knowledge sharing, horizontal teaching, and accessibility.
The punchcards used to operate the Jacquard loom were long, rectangular, and stitched together in an accordion format, and the design of this manifesto is an echo of that design.
